THE SEARCH FOR NAILAH FRANKLIN IS OVER

UPDATE 09.27.07 From CNN: A relative says a body found near a Chicago-area forest preserve is that of missing Chicago woman Nailah Franklin.

I can't imagine what the Franklin family must be going through at this time.

What is even harder to imagine is Marina's journey back in to stand-up. Her sister was prominently featured in her act. It will be a great loss all around.

If you are reading this, send compassion, healing and love her way. I know from experience how hard it can be to cope with loss while performing stand-up.
